After having played the guitar in various bands for over six years, Nicolas Koweindl bought a midi keyboard to finally start creating his own sound. Software-based music only adds one facet to his understanding of music since he still enjoys improvised music-sessions, which are not only a source of ideas but also keep reminding him of the different definitions and functions of music.
Nicolas spends a good deal of his time recording all kinds of sounds, especially from machines. He considers some of his sounds as sculptures carved from a chaotic piece of audio, which will later be put together to create something new: A unique creation desigend to leave an impact on the listener.
"My goal is to produce music that reflects who I am."
